Xandari Resort & Spa consists of 19 spacious villas on a 40 acre coffee and fruit plantation overlooking Costa Rica's Central Valley... the creation of architect Sherrill Broudy and artist Charlene Broudy, who envisioned a paradise reflecting the natural beauty of Costa Rica. The villas, private terraces, furniture and gardens are designed with great attention to detail, and each villa is adorned with original works of art. All villas have a private view terrace, a walled-in sun area, a bar kitchen, and either a king bed or two full beds.

VILLAS DESCRIPTION

 

   

 

 

PRIMA VILLAS are spacious villas of approximately 500 sq. ft in a building of two to four villas (see note below). Most Prima villas have two full beds, and two Prima villas have King beds. All Prima villas have a private terrace with a panoramic view of Central Valley, an enclosed terrace on the entry side of the villa, a bar kitchen and small refrigerator.

 

PRIMA PLUS is a similar in size to a Prima Villa, but has these added features: It is an individual building. In addition to a large private view terrace, it has a private garden on the side and in the rear. It has a large bathroom, opening to the garden, with two lavatories and additional storage space. It has a built in sofa that can be used as an extra bed. An electric cart is available for transportation uphill 200 meters to our main building, restaurant and swimming pools. (Does not apply for villa # 20 which is near our west pool area)

Note: Our allamanda (yellow trumpet flower) Villa 20 is in an individual Building with a dramatic palm roof.

 

ULTRA VILLAS are larger villas of approximately 735 sq. ft and most are in individual buildings for increased privacy. Villas 15 and 16 are Ultra Villas in a 4 villa building, and have a sleeping alcove with king bed with a Central Valley view on one side and a private garden on the other side. All have a private terrace with a panoramic view of the Central Valley, an enclosed terrace on the entry side of the villa, and a bar kitchen with a small refrigerator.

 

ULTRA PLUS VILLAS are our newest and largest villas of approximately 820 sq. ft, located near the Spa Village. They have a King bed and two convertible sofa beds, a roman bathtub overlooking a private garden in addition to a shower. It has a private terrace with a panoramic view of the Central Valley, a generous bar Kitchen with small refrigerator.  An electric cart is available for transportation uphill 200 meters to our main building, restaurant and swimming pools.
