Arrival to San Jose. A representative of our company will meet you at the Juan Santamaria International Airport and will transfer you to Hotel Occidental La Condesa.

Transfer to the area of the Arenal Volcano, which is rich in rainforest, waterfalls, caverns, lakes, wild rivers, hot springs and the spectacular conical Arenal Volcano. You will also find an incredibly diversity of wildlife and flora.

Rising 1633 meters on the horizon, Arenal volcano is the most spectacular attraction of the region. The volcano rumbles regularly and bursts into occasional explosions that send molten lava and incandescent boulders flying in all directions.

Near the volcano the scenic blue waters of Arenal Lake complement one of the most amazing regions of Central America.

Overnight Montana de Fuego Hotel

Around 3:00pm you will enjoy a hiking tour to the Arenal volcano, which is one of the most actives of the world. During this hike it is possible to see many plants, birds, and other animal species that call the rainforest home. You will get close enough so that you can enjoy the eruptions of the volcano, but always from a safe distance. After that, you will go to a viewpoint where you can watch the volcano while enjoying a drink. Later on you can relax on the hot springs.

Visit to Poas Volcano National Park, Grecia and Sarchi towns
The Poas Volcano have two craters: one is active an emits a plume of noxious steam and the destruction caused by past eruptions is easy to see, this is also the world’s largest volcanic crater. A short walk through the nearby forest leads to an extinct crater filled with the emerald water of Botos Lake and surrounded by lush forest.
